The FSA offers the Following Categories of Membership:

Active: a Doctor of medicine who is licensed in the State of Florida, and who is engaged in the practice of Anesthesiology, who lives in the state of Florida and/or practices in the state of Florida and who meets at least one of the following requirements:

| Active Early Career: Reduced dues rate for Active Members, available to any U.S.-based anesthesiologist after training and in practice years 1-3. | 1st year: $0 2nd year: $200 3rd year: $300 |
| Anesthesiologist Assistant Student Member: a student anesthesiologist assistant member shall be an individual in full-time training in an Anesthesiologist Assistant program. | $25.00 |
| Active – Military: a Practicing anesthesiologist in the State of Florida, employed by the US government or practicing at a VA facility in Florida | $75.00 |
| Affiliate: a Doctor of Medicine who has interest in anesthesiology; as physician not in clinical practice of anesthesiology | $75.00 |
| Educational: a non-physician provider of anesthesia care, including but not limited to Advance Practice Nurse, Dentist (DDS), Nurse Anesthetist (NA), Physician Assistant, Veterinarian (DVM) | $100.00 |
| Educational Student: an Anesthesiologist Assistant student or a Nurse Anesthetist student | $25.00 |
| Educational Student Member: an educational student member shall be an anesthesia care team provider trainee who is not a physician or anesthesiologist assistant trainee. | $25.00 |
| Resident/Fellow: a Doctor of medicine who is engaged in full-time training in Anesthesiology residency in Florida | $100.00 |
| Medical Student: an Individual in full-time training at an approved US or international medical school | $10.00 |
| Anesthesiologist Assistant: An AA who is a Fellow member in good standing of the American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAAA) | $100.00 |
| Anesthesiologist Assistant Student Member: a student anesthesiologist assistant member shall be an individual in full time training in an Anesthesiologist Assistant program. | $25.00 |
| Anesthesia Administrator and Executive Member: an anesthesia administrator or executive member shall be an anesthesia administrator or executive (AAE) who is employed by an anesthesia group, institution, or company comprised of ASA Active members. | $250.00 |
| Retired Member: a Doctor of medicine who is no longer actively engaged in the practice of Anesthesiology, and who has been an Active or Affiliate member of a component society of the American Society of Anesthesiologists for a minimum of (20) years, or has reached the age of 70. Active members of this society who are disabled and therefore unable to engage in the practice of their profession for one year or more, shall at their request be placed in retired membership status upon receipt of a completed ASA disability waiver by the FSA Executive Director. When they resume active practice they must so notify the Office of the Executive Director and shall thereupon be reinstated as active members. | $0 |

Our job is to open doors, make our case, and protect safe medicine. The Florida Society of Anesthesiologists is working to uphold the highest standards of our profession and patient advocacy by promoting research, education, and innovation in anesthesia care. FSA is an educational, research, and scientific association of physicians organized to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology and improve the care of their patients.

Securing Your Practice: The Florida Society of Anesthesiologists is proud of the good work we’ve done in the past to safeguard your practice and Florida’s patients. And while we have made great strides in our efforts, the work is far from done.
